Headed by longtime Bay Area guitar player Glen Stacey, in the 70's when his friends were listening to rock he was listening to Jobim. "What a pleasure it has been to listen and to learn the great sophisticated music of the Bossa Nova and Brazilian Jazz." A Jazz School alum, Glen formed Pulse Brasil several years ago and has been successfully performing all over the Bay Area ever since.
Pulse Brasil combines power with sophistication, sensuality with cool to bring you the popular music of Brazil from the past and the present. Playing the music of Jobim, Menescal, Djavan, Marcos Valle and more. A taste of world culture that Americans like, they perform at Jazz venues, supper clubs and all sorts of private functions.
